Our customers will be aware of the recently introduced EU directive that came into force in 2007. The aim of the directives is to reduce emissions and landfill for a number of hazardous substances, and to reduce the impact on the environment of these substances. As Agents and Distributors of electronic devices Intelligent Group Solutions Ltd is not involved in the manufacture or design of those components, or finished goods highlighted under the two directives. With respect to IGS manufactured products, as a responsible company we are conforming to the legislation contained in the WEEE directive.

We will continue to monitor the evolving legislation and make updates as appropriate.

End of Life Recycling of Manufactured Equipment

Where Intelligent Group Solutions Ltd manufacture a complete unit for sale under it's own name IGS will take the responsibility for recycling under the WEEE directive. IGS has arranged for end of life recycling with Computer Salvage Specialists who undertake the disposal of various component parts in a responsible way.
